A production rate of 13,000 standard size credit cards per hour can be achieved using this press. This press is designed specifically for the high production of credit cards. The Platens are cored for steam heating to achieve a fast heat-up rate and a temperature uniformity of +-5 Degrees. -Previous owner was using this machine to laminate large posters. They kept the machines maintained and in good shape. Example of Poster Lamination: 15 Minutes On Heat Cycle : 21 Minutes Cooling Cycle -Steam Process as used at Plastech Specialties- When the heating timer is set, steam from a boiler enters the platens for the timed period. Once the timer has ended and the cooling timer is set it will then flush the hot water to a cooling tower where the cold water is flushed into the platens to cool for ease of use when removing materials.
